Joshua Brandfonbrener Architect is a full service architectural practice established in 2000 and specializing in all aspects of construction and renovation for educational, residential, commercial & cultural clients. The firm’s goal is to apply a flexible, intelligent and highly collaborative approach to the planning, design and execution of its projects. Josh Brandfonbrener, the firm’s principal, has been a practicing architect in New York since 1992. Mr. Brandfonbrener received a Bachelor’s of Arts, magna cum laude, in architecture from Yale College in 1988 and a Masters of Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture in 1993. He is a registered architect in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. Prior to establishing this firm, he worked with Venturi Scott Brown and Associates in Philadelphia, and with Toshiko Mori Architect and Buttrick White & Burtis in New York.

Mr. Brandfonbrener has received a grant for independent architectural research from the Graham Foundation and has been a guest juror and lecturer at the Yale School of Architecture and the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University.
